Strootman Will Be like New recruits to Rome
Rome – Roma Rudi Garcia Allenatore enthusiastically welcomed the second half of the season with Kevin Strootman who has recovered from injury. After a long absence, Strootman will be like a new signing for Roma.
Strootman was pulled over for nearly nine months with a knee injury he got in March last year. Dutch international midfielder had to increase the operating table to heal the ACL in his left knee muscles were torn.
After a long absence, Strootman is back grazing in November last. He came on as a substitute when Roma host Torino.
However Strootman still have trouble finding the best performance. Since his comeback, he has appeared three times in all competitions and only once down as a starter.
Garcia denies the Strootman it still takes time to get back to peak condition. When Strootman back to his best performances later, the age of 24 it is called will be like a new player for Roma.
“The biggest recruits in January? (Manuel) Iturbe and Strootman,” Garcia said as quoted by Football Italia.
“With Kevin, obviously we know that such a severe injury that will take time to recover 100%. Basically he only had half a season, though fortunately we play fewer games in the first half of the season.”
“The more he practiced, growing itself. For Kevin, a pause is important, even in the case of mental fitness to return to training with the matter.”
“We’ll see if he comes back 100%, but he approached through practice,” he added.
